Jason H Katz
Mr. Katz has the strong ability to masterfully blend his financial and technological expertise with his strong belief in creating and maintaining personal relationships to create and increase value in the companies he represents.
Mr. Katz has helped numerous founders in a variety of verticals including but not limited to manufacturing, retail, technology, service, construction, advertising, and healthcare in growing their business, through successful financial events and recognizing significant enterprise value on their transactions. Mr. Katz has also worked with many mid-market PE firms to ensure a smooth onboarding and integration process post transaction, with continued focus on organic growth, bolt on M&A acquisition and integration and subsequent sell side transactions.
Mr. Katz, while serving as CFO of Hill York Air Conditioning and Energy Solutions, successfully completed a sale process and transitioned the family-owned business to a publicly traded entity. Additionally, overseeing the financial and technology operations of the organization. Founded in 1936, Hill York is an industry leader providing HVAC contractor services to Florida’s commercial and residential clients.
Previously, Mr. Katz served as CEO of Host.net, a multi-state data center, cloud, and network provider. Host.net had 30 points of presence (POPs) creating a national private, secure network. Joining Host.net as CFO, Mr. Katz lead the company’s growth, added new managed-service product offerings, and transitioned the private equity-backed company to new ownership.
Mr. Katz is a strong believer in giving back to the community and has served on various boards throughout his career. Presently Mr. Katz is focused on Habitat for Humanity and the Nova Southeastern Athletics Council.
A licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, he graduated from Kent State University in Ohio, and studied postgraduate at the University of Pittsburgh.
A dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan, he played hockey from age four through college. In his free time, Mr. Katz enjoys to travel, boating, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Katharine Katz
Mrs. Katz had nearly twenty years of progressive responsibility and success in Fortune 200 Companies where she has held positions in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Management, Project Management, and Operations. Her successes include the implementation of revenue optimization techniques, coupled with monitoring of competitors to maintain a pricing advantage; successful consolidation of several foreign and domestic manufacturing business units positioning the Company for a carve out sale to p/e; providing enterprise-wide asset optimization by implementing strategic, companywide, Project Management initiative-increasing revenue, reducing expenses and optimizing resources and operations.
She has worked for several years on her own her on providing the following services: strategic planning, operating budgeting, budgeting and forecasting, revenue cycle optimization, treasury functions, capital budgeting decision making, lease or buy decision making, Human Resource Management, Business Case Analysis, software implementation among others.
Mrs. Katz is enthusiastic, and results driven she has applied her skills in several verticals including manufacturing, retail, travel, education, entertainment, and not-for-profit.
Feeling firmly about reinvesting time, talent, and treasure back into the community Mrs. Katz is presently working with The Archdiocese of Miami and Habitat for Humanity.
Mrs. Katz is a licensed CPA and CAM with the State of Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies in Finance at Florida Atlantic University and earned her master’s from Nova Southeastern University in Accountancy. Additionally, she has earned the following certificates: BABSON COLLEGE, Office Depot Merchandising and Planning Program; THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY, Managing Projects in Organizations; WHARTON, UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Office Depot Leadership Development Program.
When not working Mrs. Katz enjoys practicing vinyasa yoga, paddleboarding, boating, writing fiction, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
